Kaching Bundles vs Solid Bundles
Short version: these are good apps for different stores. Kaching Bundles is the category's conversion leader, and if your business is storefront-first (dropshipping, digital, print on demand, no external fulfillment), it is probably the right choice and we will not pretend otherwise. Solid Bundles is built for a narrower question that Kaching does not center: what does the order look like to your warehouse, your 3PL, and your accountant after checkout. If that question matters to you, read on.
What Kaching Bundles is genuinely good at
Kaching holds a 5.0 rating across more than 5,000 reviews and a Built for Shopify badge, both earned. The app covers an unusually wide surface of storefront offers: fixed bundles, mix and match, variant bundles, BOGO, volume discounts, frequently bought together, subscription boxes, and more, with polished widgets and fast setup. If your goal is maximum offer variety on the product page with minimal configuration, that is Kaching's home turf.
Where the two apps ask different questions
Most bundle apps, Kaching included, treat the product page as the finish line: the offer converts, the discount applies, done. Solid Bundles treats checkout as the halfway point. Fixed bundles expand at checkout into their component line items: real SKUs, real quantities, correct prices, with the bundle reference attached to every line. Inventory decrements on components. Partial refunds target exact components and restock them. Your 3PL imports the order and picks it without translation, and your order history stays complete no matter what later happens to the app.
Whether Kaching's mechanics fit your fulfillment is a question to put to them directly, and the test is simple with any app: place a test order, open it in Shopify admin, and look at the line items. Then refund it and watch component inventory. Ten minutes, and you know.
Pricing: capped tiers vs flat
| APP | MODEL | MONTHLY PRICE | WHAT MOVES YOUR BILL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kaching Bundles | Tiered by app-generated revenue | $14.99 / $29.99 / $59.99 | Tiers cap "additional revenue" at $1,000 / $5,000 / $10,000 per month; a successful store moves up. Annual billing saves 25 to 27%. |
| Solid Bundles | Flat | $29 | Nothing. No revenue caps, no order limits, no tier upgrades. 14-day trial. |
LAST VERIFIED: AUGUST 5, 2026, FROM BOTH PUBLIC APP STORE LISTINGS
Kaching's model is legitimate and clearly disclosed: you pay more as the app generates more. Whether that is fair value or a success tax depends on your margins and your volume. Our position is simpler to reason about: bundles that do $200 or $200,000 a month cost the same $29. Both apps are free on development stores.

Who should pick which
- Pick Kaching if you fulfill your own orders or dropship, want maximum offer variety with minimal setup, and the shape of the order record does not affect your operations.
- Pick Solid Bundles if a warehouse, 3PL, or ERP consumes your orders, if refunds and inventory accuracy on components matter, or if you have been burned by a bundle app shutdown and want your order history independent of any vendor, including us.
Solid Bundles is live on the Shopify App Store: flat $29 per month, no revenue caps, free on development stores. Migrating from another bundle app? I do migrations personally at no cost, and a limited number of early stores get free lifetime access: email [email protected].
